Jamie McGurk is Co-Founder, along with
Victoria Hopper,
of SeaChange Communications.
For over 15 years, Jamie has been actively involved in progressive fundraising and politics,
serving as a Trustee for the Kerry-Edwards campaign,
a fundraiser for countless candidates and organizations,
and a delegate to the Democratic Platform Committee.
Before starting SeaChange, Jamie and her SeaChange co-founder Victoria Hopper created a political division at OTX Research,
bringing private sector research tools to the political arena.
In addition to working in the entertainment industry through her film/television production company, Off Balance Productions,
Jamie has served as a marketing consultant for various non-profit organizations,
including IFP/West, the H.E.L.P. Group, the California State Summer School for the Arts,
and the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
There, Jamie developed strategies to raise the profiles of each organization and increased philanthropic support,
usage, and enrollment.
Jamie began her career as an Account Executive at Benton and Bowles Advertising, Inc.
Jamie earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana) in Political Science and
a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
